They are the two biggest TV shows around and this week, two of their stars met on the sofa of The Graham Norton Show.
Tom Jones coaches on [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien] The Voice and Gary Barlow will sit on the X Factor judging panel when auditions start later this month. The show’s teams are bitter rivals, with [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien] of The Voice of copying his format just this week but it seems that Tom and Gary are refusing to let the competition get personal and the pair hit it off on the BBC chat show.
The pair laughed, smiled and joked together as they sat next to each other on Graham’s comfy and talked about their respective series.
Take That star Gary was hired last year to bring some serious musical credibility to the ITV offering, however in 2012 he wants to relax and stop taking himself and the talent so very seriously.
He admitted:
‘I always thought of myself as the serious music guy, but actually 98 per cent of the acts are absolutely awful and incredibly funny, so I want to enjoy them this time round.’
